In 1980 admitted to the sanitary-hygienic faculty of the Yerevan State Medical University. In 1986 graduated it, having received the specialty of a sanitary doctor.
From October 22, 1990 to January 22, 1991, participated in a cycle of advanced training on the topic "Selected Issues of Epidemiology" at the Yerevan Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education
From September 22 to October 22, 1997, took a refresher course "Current Issues of Epidemiology" at the National Institute of Health.
